The location of Hydrela is still uncertain however the evidence suggests its location to be on the upper Maeander and near the borders of Phrygia and Caria.
There is only one coin of Augustus, which is thought by some to be a young Nero, but the portrait seems more like that of Augustus (according to RPC- however I have doubts but I on this occasion we shall go with the majority.)

Laodicea
Laodicea was the chief city of this entire region. The full name of the city was Laodicea Ad Lycus. The city was originally known as Diospolis (The City Of Zeus). The city was founded between 261 and 253 B.C by Antiochus II Theos, king of Syria, and named in honor of his wife, Laodice (Laodike). The city became part of the Kingdom of Pergamon and later passed into Roman hands in 133 B.C.
